This tutor helped me 3 times today; The first session they reviewed and helped fix my code work to follow the instructions. The second session they looked over the rubric and instructor's feedback and helped finish tweak the code to meet all requirements. In this third session, I had realized we completed the wrong assignment... They read over the instructions again, and read the other set of instructions (which I hadn't seen earlier), and then broke down everything in a way I could understand—as well as help me alter the work we had previously work on, to match the correct set of instructions. They were patient, understanding, answered all my questions, and showed examples and explained things in different ways until I finally understood what I was supposed to do!

They looked over my revised pseudocode document (after I implemented their suggestions and help from a previous session); helped me reword statements to be accurate with the rubric requirements; and reviewed my final version(s) to make sure the work was ready to be submitted. They were nice, answered all my questions, caught a few errors (I was missing a few colons in my IF and WHILE statements), and overall were just great!

I needed help properly creating pseudocode that matched my flowchart from a previous assignment (which they also helped me with last week); They showed me proper list formatting, taught me the correct pseudocode terms and style, explained the differences between using IFs and ELSE statements, and broke down the relationship between a flowchart, pseudocode, and the code. They remembered our work from earlier, reviewed the new instructions to make sure I was on the right track, helped me correct my work, answered all my questions, and explained things in a way I could understand; Overall was both nice and helpful!

This was my second session with Miguel R today; after helping me breakdown the directions and rubric requirements, and when I finished the flowchart, they reviewed the design, further helped me understand how to revise the steps considering possible teacher preferences——while still keeping my main process concept——and before ending this final session, they checked my final project version(s) and informed me of their available times for future assignment help! They were nice, patient, explained everything in a way I could understand, and overall very helpful 😄

They were amazing! I needed help understanding my CS project's directions (creating a flowchart using specific game description) and they broke down the information, showed me an example following the rubric guidelines, then walked through the process steps using the code board. They answered all my questions, checked that I was following properly, helped me understand that certain situations don't need certain kind of ifelse and loop aspects if there are limited elements/variables involved, and showed me how my own ideas may effect the initial (and example) game situation! They were nice, patient, and got me to the point I can make my flowchart before ending the session——they also suggested to reconnect once I finished the design :D
